Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has announced that he successfully passed the presidential screening exercise organized by his party in Abuja on May 19.

According to Obi, the screening process lasted over two and a half hours and involved a detailed review of his academic qualifications, NYSC credentials, age declarations, and other important documents. He also answered questions regarding his vision for Nigeria and the leadership direction he believes the country urgently needs.

Obi praised the professionalism of the screening committee, which was led by former governor Sam Egwu, commending the team for conducting a transparent and thorough exercise.

After successfully completing the screening, Peter Obi confirmed that he was officially cleared and received the presidential nomination form he had previously paid for.

The former Anambra State governor also appreciated the leadership of his party for maintaining democratic values and ensuring a fair process throughout the exercise.

Obi ended his statement with his popular message of hope and transformation:
